Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain) in 1980, I always felt that graphic design was the best way to explain myself, as I grew up in a creative family. And music. Music was always there too.
At the age of 21 I decided to create a collective which allowed me to collaborate with talented professionals and work with important clients in the islands (Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas, Escuela de Arquitectura de Las Palmas, Publicidad Atlantis, Volkswagen Group …)
Then I started travelling around with the only idea of learning new tricks and meet interesting people everywhere. That feeling made me move to MADRID (Spain) working as graphic designer for IBERIA and Comunidad de Madrid. Then to BARCELONA (Spain?) where I explored industrial, signaletic and editorial design in Manterola División Arte.
I always combined freelance activity and ‘regular-agency-employments’, depending on the moment and mood. That mix allowed me to work with clients abroad (Singapore, Marseille, Brussels …) and then, back in 2009, I finally came to France, where I’ve been living for the last 6 years. Along these time, I learned a lot of new technologies, and I buried a lot of ’em too (goodbye flash, ciao macromedia freehand !) Time’s a monster, right, but after all your perspective gets larger and wider. That’s why I think a brief’s a brief here, there and everywhere.
Lately I’ve worked as webdesigner in vente-privée.com where I re-discovered the secrets of mobile technologies, responsiveness, APPS, UI/UX, newslettering … with the only purpose of improving my skills and be able to give clients the best multimedia solutions.
Nowadays I’m back into freelance activity, working for big accounts as SÉPHORA, BP, CITADINES, Kérastase and others, waiting for you to contact and start a brand-new-super-project together.
